Conditions of use AGREEMENT BETWEEN USER AND A Advanced Resume Service - AARS.


Pricing and Services
By using our products and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted our Terms and conditions. Our pricing for services includes a one-hour telephone consultation. Any consultation time in excess of the one-hour initial consultation will be charged at $150 per hour.

Proofreading and Accuracy
You are wholly responsible for your career documents' accuracy, including factual content, accuracy and proofreading. We are not liable for any injury or damage caused by omissions, false statements, or other inaccuracies.

Revisions
You must review all career documents and notify us of any needed corrections within 14 days from the date the first draft is emailed to you. If you wish to make revisions after this 14 day period, you will be charged at a rate the professional rate of $150 per hour. A 15 minute minimum charge will apply in all cases.

Refunds & Cancelation of Services
Upon participation in the consultation, and the receipt of the worksheet/questionnaire, you will not, under any circumstances, qualify for a refund. Once you have entered into an agreement with us to create your career documents, fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. We do, however, offer a guarantee that you will get interviews with your new résumé if you follow all the appropriate job search steps (please read our interview rewrite guarantee).

Cancellation, Chargeback Fees, & Refusal of Service
By purchasing our services, you agree that time is of the essence and that you expressly acknowledge and waive your right to cancel this Agreement under applicable state laws. Clients who cancel their payment may be charged a $150 chargeback fee.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel service to anyone, at our discretion.

Electronic Files & Disk Copies
We provide your career documents in Microsoft Word format. We cannot otherwise guarantee the compatibility of files with your systems or that documents will retain their original formatting features. We may keep electronic or paper copies of documents indefinitely.

Copyright
Content on this site is our exclusive property or the exclusive property of our affiliates, and is protected by applicable copyright laws. The compilation of content on this site is our exclusive property and is protected by law.

We expressly reserve all rights related to our copyrights.

Privacy
We ask you when we need information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") such as your name and contact information. We use your Personal Information to operate our site and services. We may also inform you of our new features, services, and products. Your Personal Information is not shared with anyone who does not work for or with us, except with your permission.

We keep client provided writing samples, resumes, and other information confidential. Again, they are not shared with anyone who does not work for or with us, except with your permission.

We reserve the right to use our work (including resumes and other work prepared for you) and your questions, comments, and feedback in instructional, promotional, or other material. We will remove all Personal Information from any such work.
We may use cookies to count users to our sites but these cookies do not contain any Personal Information.

License and Site Access
We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with our express written consent.

This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink to our home page so long as the link does not portray A Advanced Resume Service, its resume writers, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. Moreover, you may not use any of our logos or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without our express written permission.

The AARS Web Site may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal web pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, "Communication Services"), you agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Communication Service.   • Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
  • Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Communication Service specifically allows such messages.
  • Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.
  • Download any file posted by another user of a Communication Service that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
  • Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
  • Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Communication Services.
  • Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service.

AARS has no obligation to monitor the Communication Services. However, AARS reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. AARS reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.

AARS reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in AARS's sole discretion.

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in any Communication Service. AARS does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, AARS specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service. Managers and hosts are not authorized AARS spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of AARS

Materials uploaded to a Communication Service may be subject to posted limitations on usage, reproduction and/or dissemination. You are responsible for adhering to such limitations if you download the materials.

MATERIALS PROVIDED TO AARS OR POSTED AT ANY AARS WEB SITE

TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION

AARS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the AARS Web Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. GENERAL To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, U.S.A. and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Illinois, U.S.A. in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the AARS Web Site. Use of the AARS Web Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and AARS as a result of this agreement or use of the AARS Web Site. AARS's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of AARS's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the AARS Web Site or information provided to or gathered by AARS with respect to such use.
